Carli Dillen

After 17 years of training and competing in martial arts, using CrossFit as her preferred strength and conditioning programme, Carli retired from Taekwon-Do, after winning her 3rd World Championship Gold medal in front of a home crowd in Wellington, NZ, 2011. She went on to compete in Olympic weightlifting, winning the Auckland Championships in 2012, and then switched to Powerlifting in 2013. In 2014 she had her 4th major reconstructive surgery on her leg and used powerlifting to successfully rehabilitation her leg and came back to compete in Auckland, National and Oceania Champs later that year. This year Carli has represented NZ at the World Championships in Finland, as well as winning the Auckland and National Championships in her class.
